Eyes
The eyes dictate where the body goes. When the motion of sitting BACK into the squat begins, affix the eyes FORWARD, not necessarily up. Doing so will aid in both the eccentric and concentric execution while keeping the upper back in a neutral position. This neutral position allows for the upper erectors to stay engaged.
