Bench Lockout
One of our most frequently used variations for the bench (for those whom compete geared or raw) is the floor press. While the Straight Bar 1RM in this movement is the most basic standard, many lifters here prefer to drill it using the Football, or T-Grip Bar. This is due to the increased stress and emphasis on the long head of the tricep, which is what locks the bar out in the last couple inches.
