The earthquake bar truly earns its name . It is deceptively light and sturdy . The grip is fatter than a normal Olympic bar . It is excellent for working shoulders and chest . The bar shakes under relatively light loads and forces you to compensate. I have two screws in my shoulder and limited mobility and diminished strength . The bar is perfect for equalizing the load because you can’t compensate the strength of one arm for the weakness in another. And because you can’t both shoulders get fair and attention. Please note I am a novice layman but to me it works .
