At Westside box jumps are a key portion of development for athletes as they build explosive power from a multitude of positions.
These are ALWAYS weighted in some fashion:
-banded resistance -bar in the front rack
-bar overhead -back racked bar
They can be running starts,
Or still standing.
From both feet,
Off one foot,
From the knees.
But ALWAYS 80 total jumps per week split across 2 days(40 each day), typically in the evening training session.
