HOW TO MEASURE

All measurements above are taken from the garment laid flat. To compare against a shirt you already own and love, lay it flat on a hard surface and measure with a tape.

Body Length

From the highest point of the shoulder seam straight down to the bottom hem.

Chest Width

One inch below the armhole, measured straight across from edge to edge. Garment laid flat, not doubled.

Sleeve Length

From the center back of the collar, across the shoulder seam, all the way down to the sleeve cuff.

Shoulder Width

From the outer edge of one shoulder seam straight across to the outer edge of the other.

Inseam

From the crotch seam straight down the inside of the leg to the bottom of the hem.

Waist

Across the top of the waistband, edge to edge. Double the number for full waist circumference.

Tolerance is the acceptable variance per garment. A "+/- 1" tolerance means the actual measurement can be up to one inch over or under the listed size.

Brian Bott has spent 25 years developing the football players you watch on Sundays. On June 20th 2026, he is at Westside Barbell teaching high school football coaches how the Conjugate Method applies inside their programs. He brings the work, not a slide deck.

Who this is for

High school football coaches who want to take Westside methodology back to their programs. Head coaches, position coaches, and dedicated strength coaches working inside a high school football program. Open to coaches anywhere within driving distance of Westside Barbell.

This is not the right clinic for coaches looking for a generic one-size template, or anyone without working experience in a strength setting. The material moves at a coach-to-coach pace.

FAQ

Is this for head coaches, position coaches, or strength coaches?

All three. Head coaches who want to understand what their strength program should look like. Position coaches who influence their team's training. Strength coaches working with the football program. The material assumes you have working experience in a strength setting and moves at a coach-to-coach pace.

Do I need to know the Conjugate Method before attending?

No. Bott teaches the principles from the ground up before he gets into football-specific application. If you have read Book of Methods or run a max effort day before, you will move faster, but a coach new to conjugate can keep up.

I'm coming from out of state. Any logistics I should know?

The clinic is at Westside Barbell in the Columbus, Ohio area. After you book your seat, we will send a confirmation email with the exact address, parking notes, and hotel suggestions. The full clinic ends by 3 to 4 PM Saturday, which leaves time to drive home that evening if you are within 4 or 5 hours.

Will lunch be provided?

No. There is a one-hour break from 12 to 1 to eat on your own. There are options within a short drive of the gym.

Is the clinic recorded?

No. This is in-person only, built around live coaching, demonstrations on the floor, and direct Q&A. You need to be in the room.

Can I bring an assistant coach?

Each ticket admits one coach. If your assistant is coming, they need their own ticket. Capacity is capped at 30 total, no exceptions.

What should I bring?

A notebook and pen. Comfortable clothes if you want to step onto the floor during demonstrations. That is it.

Will I get to see the gym in action?

Yes. You will spend the full day inside Westside Barbell, and parts of the clinic happen on the platforms where the work gets done.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are available up to 14 days before the event. Inside 14 days, the ticket can be transferred to another coach but is not refundable.
