From the mystery sale I received a double prong lever belt. The clasp/latch is of poor construction and releases itself while you brace against the belt. The belt arrived with the back plate bolts askew in their holes, so that the belt itself has to be forced over them to operate the lever. The bolt/axle piece within the lever apparatus collides with the housing of the lever as well, making closing the lever difficult or impossible without taking the entire belt off and resetting.
The belt i received is unsafe and of poor quality. I will not be purchasing any more equipment from WSBB if this is the "westside quality" the page advertised. Waste of money and leather. Thumbs down.
I also experienced getting a defective lever belt which becomes undone during a squat. I do not recommend as it is dangerous if this happens during mid-squat
Small for a size large, but an awesome tshirt!
Mine ended up being a lever belt and I had to take a Dremel and cut down part of the lever because it wasn't cast right and wood not close all the way
So following the sizing chart I chose the “proper” size and went ahead with the order, and I live internationally so the shipping was a little pricey, but heh, I’ve ordered from them before no problem. Figure whatever the issue westside will make it right, right? Well…. I got my belt, nice 13mm single prong belt ol nitro embossed stamping on the belt, but I knew right away it wasn’t gong to fit. Checked the packing slip it said the size, checked the belt sure enough the size was right. Contacted westside to see if they’d help me out, they would if I paid all the shipping costs!! By that point I would have paid 3x the price of the belt. So in the end I ended up with nothing. Hence the 1 star. If you use a lever belt they size differently than prong belts and unfortunately they was the case here. If in the states and want to take a chance go for it, international people may want to think twice.
