Poly Sport Grip™ Training Rope - PR1550
The Problem - All heavy training ropes in the industry come with hard plastic end caps or duct tape on the ends. This is old school! Tape will easily come off and hard end caps create a stiff, slippery handle. Most users are forced to “choke up” on the rope so they won’t have to hold onto the end caps. By doing so, this leaves about 8” or more of rope sticking out of the back of the hand. This can get in the way of training and reduces the training intensity by shortening the rope length. Some ropes such as Danline or polypropylene are very smooth, slippery and plastic like and do not make for a good hand hold. Manila ropes can be very rough and abrasive and can even cause splinters if rope slips in the hand.
The Solution - Our flexible patent pending Sport Grip™ handles replace plastic end caps or duct tape. They improve comfort, grip & training duration giving you the ability to train longer, safer and with more intensity. Sport Grips™ have a more natural flex and bend. They also absorb sweat from your hands (which reduces slipping) and provide an easier and more secure gripping surface while reducing hand shock and vibration. Commercial quality, durable & easy to clean. Plus, they look much more professional.
The Rope - Synthetic braided poly propylene/polyester (80/20) material blend. Tightness of the our ropes have been specifically made for wave/undulation training. Polyester yarn adds optimum abrasion resistance & increased strength. Water resistant, durable & non-shedding. Perfect for indoor or outdoor use. Use our Quick Anchor Strap to anchor or shorten any rope. Poly rope tracer color can vary in color. 15 ft partner pairs also available. 30 day warranty. Proudly assembled in the USA.
Training Tip - Our standard starter rope is the 1.5” 50 ft. This is great for general physical preparedness & conditioning. Best for those just starting out, high school students and those For more athletic conditioning we suggest our 2” 50 which is best for specific or specialty physical preparedness and athletic conditioning*
*The benefit of purchasing a 50 ft. 1.5” or 2” rope is that it can be made shorter by using our new Quick Anchor Strap Attachment (sold separately) and then made longer as the user progresses. This is not true for the 30 & 40 ft. ropes, as they cannot be made shorter and then increased.
These ropes have been manufactured for the purpose of heavy rope waves, slams & undulation type training. The grips are not designed for pole, pulling or climbing. Any usage other than their intended purpose of wave undulation training nullifies our warranty.
